Make GPF withdrawal easier: JKTF to edu deptt
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, April 28: The J&K Teachers’ Forum has asked the School Education Department to make the G P Fund withdrawal easier for employees by doing away with the formalities like producing of withdrawal statements from 1986.
“It is only this department where employees are asked to submit the withdrawal statements from 1986, while in others they get it on the producing the latest GPF schedule,” Forum spokesman said.
He appealed the education minister, secretary education and the director for intervention to dispense with the ‘uncalled’ for formality which, according to him, was not required as per the norms prescribed by the Finance Department for the purpose except for final withdrawal.
