PSA on Shabir Shah quashed again

Srinagar, Apr 2: The High Court Friday quashed the detention under Public Safety Act of Democratic Freedom Party chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah and directed the state to release him if not required in some other case.
 Police had arrested Shah from his residence at Sanatnagar here on February 2. Subsequently, District Magistrate Srinagar slapped PSA on Shah on February 9 and detained him in Kathua Jail.
 Meanwhile, the High Court also quashed the detention under PSA of a Pakistani national, Zafar-ul-Haq, and three local youth Aijaz Ahmad Parra, Bashir Ahmad Dar and Sajad Ahmad Mir.
