AGIP lubricants forays into valley

Srinagar, Apr 29: AGIP lubricants, brand of ENI SpA of Italy, ranked 17th in the Fortune 500 list of companies and among the first 10 largest petroleum companies in the world, has commenced its commercial operations in Kashmir.
Announcing this on Thursday, head of sales - North Zone, Rajiv Tanwar, said AGIP would operate through M/s New Valley Enterprises, Srinagar which is authorized distributor to provide high performance lubricants to customers.
He said that company would retain a special focus on Kashmir Valley for propagation of brand AGIP here.
He said ENI was an Italian industrial giant with a group turnover that exceeds Rs 8 lac crores.
AGIP has partnered in India with APAR INDUSTRIES LTD, a public limited company with turnover exceeding Rs 2000 crores and market leaders in the area of Transformer Oils, White Oil & Petroleum specialities. AGIP oils are manufactured out of Apar's Rabale facility which is ISO 9000 & 14001 certified.
