Encroachment at Friends Enclave unabated: Residents

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Apr 29: The residents of Friends Enclave near Srinagar airport have complained that despite their stiff resistance a “blue eyed” family was continuing to encroach upon a park in the colony.
The residents said even though they informed the district authorities no action was taken.
“The land earmarked for Zanana Park is being grabbed in broad daylight only because they (blue eyed family) are too influential,” the locals said.
They appealed Pradesh Congress President and former Union Minster Safif-ud-Din Soz, who happens to a resident of the adjoining locality, to look into matter.
“We have relevant documents in this regard,” the locals said.
