Jammu, Apr 29: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Thursday laid stress on transparency, accountability and justice without any influence in the process of recruitment for various Government posts.
“The task is difficult but merit and justice should be the only benchmark for making selection of right candidate for the right post”, he maintained expressing the hope that Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) and other recruitment agencies will speed up the process of recruitments and simplify the procedure without compromising on quality and objectivity.
The Chief Minister was addressing a function after inaugurating Rs. 19.35 crore Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission complex here.
Abdullah said that the functioning of recruitment agencies should be lucid, transparent and based on principles of justice. “There should be no chance left for anybody to complain”, he said and asked the Public Service Commission to look for improvement if any required in this direction.
