Altaf releases Baba Ji Sahib’s Arifaana Kalaam

SHAFIQ MIR

Rajouri, Apr 4: The Forest Minister, Mian Altaf, and Secretary of the Cultural Academy, Zaffar Iqbal Manhas released audio CDs of Baba Ji Sahib’s Larvi’s Arifaana Kalaam in Gojri here on Sunday.
The album prepared by Khakashaan Music Company has been directed by Sheikh Sajad Hussain. It also includes Arifaana kalaam of Mian Nizam-u-Din son of Baba Ji Sahib Larvi. Noted artist master Kartar Chand has provided his voice.
“Though we could not do anything in this regard so far but the followers of Baba Ji Sahib have proved that they are much near to him than his relatives,” said Mian Altaf.
He thanked all those who completed the project on their own and informed him only at the time of inauguration.
The album director Sheikh Sajad Hussain said that he had conceived the idea to introduce this Arifaana Kalaam in the world of music after he felt that hundreds of people in Jammu and Kashmir were singing Baba Ji’s Kalaam in their own style. “I traced Kartaar Chand of Poonch who sung this deep Kalaam in his sweet voice,” he said.
The Secretary of the Cultural Academy, Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, appreciated Sajad and  his colleagues for achieving this feat. “This Kalaam is one more wonderful addition in the world of Sufi Kalam.  The message of Baba Ji Sahib will now reach to more people,” he added.
