Symphony brings ‘Ice Cube’ to Valley
RABIA NOOR
Srinagar, Apr 4: Leaders in air coolers, Symphony Comfort Systems Ltd Sunday launched its latest product ‘ice cube’ in the Valley.
Sana Incorporations, authorized distributors of the company, which has its office at Karan Nagar here unveiled the product at Symphony Dealers’ Meet at a local hotel here.
Company’s Senior General Manager (Sales) N K Marwah said the company had already launched the product in other parts of the country where the summer season sets in around March. “In the Valley the summer starts around May so we took some time to launch the product here,” Marwah told Greater Kashmir.
He said the Ice Cube was the world’s first personal air cooler with 11 inch rust proof fan. “You can use ice cube as a cooler when temperatures soar or simply as a fan when you need a gentle breeze,” he said.
Marwah said Symphony was the first company to introduce small cooler with fans. “Ice cube is the only branded small cooler with fans, whereas other coolers usually come with blowers. So it is a fan-cum-cooler,” he said. He said the company expected a good market for its product in the Valley. “Earlier our business volume in the Valley was low, but since Sana Incorporations joined us last year, our sales have gone up,” he said, adding that the company had a network of 30 to 40 dealers in the Valley.
He said the company had 13 unique models in air coolers. “Established in 1988, ours is presently number one company in air cooler category,” Marwah said, adding that they exported their products to more than 40 countries including USA, Europe, Middle East, Africa and South-East Asia.
Proprietor Sana Incorporations John Muhammad said: “This is the first of its kind product in the Valley and I do expect a good market for it.”
The event was attended by a dealers and distributors of various companies.
