Tributes paid to Haji’s mother

Srinagar, Apr 4: Cutting across party lines and ideologies, various pro-freedom, mainstream, employee union and trade organizations paid glowing tributes to the mother of Srinagar Municipal Corporation employees president, Haji Bashir.
Scores of the people attended the congregational Rasm-e-Chararum at bereaved’s Safa Kadal residence.
Prominent among those who attended the function were representatives from Hurriyat (G), Hurriyat (M), JKLF, Employees Joint Action Committee. Pro-freedom leader Showkat Bakshi was also present on the occasion while former Mayor Salman Ali Sagar expressed condolence on behalf of the National Conference leadership.
