KUOA expresses concern on ministerial staff strike

Srinagar: The Kashmir University Officers Association (KUOA) Tuesday expressed concern over the strike by the Kashmir University Ministerial Staff Association (KUMSA) from April 5.
 The KUOA held a meeting with its President Dr MS Sumbli in chair and resolved that the “strike would have far reaching consequences so far as the interests of the student community in particular and society in general are concerned.”
 “However, it was felt that the KUMSA has some genuine demands which have remained pending and unsolved for quite long time now despite repeated assurances by the authorities,” the KUOA said.
