‘Resume work’

Srinagar, Apr 8: The Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, on Thursday once again asked the employees to shun the path of confrontation and resume duties.
“The government recently implemented the recommendations of 6th Pay Commission. To do so, we had to spent Rs 1800 crore. Employees need to keep all the aspects in mind and resume their duties in the larger interest of the people. They need to shun the path of strike as its adding to the miseries of the people,” Omar told reporters here.
Omar said that he had have asked the officers to implement contingency plans fully so that people do not face any problem. “Our primary responsibility is to provide better services to the people with special focus on the essential services.”
