Asiya alleges raids on her house
We are probing burglary: Police
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Apr 8: The Dukhtaran-e-Milat chief, Syeda Asiya Andrabi has condemned the frequent police ‘raids’ on her residence, terming them as barbarous acts.
In a statement, Asiya said “The police are every now and then raiding my residence and harassing my children despite the fact that I am away from home for the past three months. My husband is serving life imprisonment in jail and I am living underground. I ask the government to arrest my sons and keep my house locked so that they may get rid of continued harassment.”
Meanwhile, the SP Hazratbal, Maqsood-u-Zaman has clarified that the police was visiting Asiya’s residence in connection with the investigation in burglary case.
The Asiya’s residential house at Soura was burgled some months ago and she had registered a case with the Soura police station.
