During investigation the Crime Branch found that Gulal enticed a lady promising that he would marry her.
Gulal subsequently was regularly meeting the lady who had impression that he was in love with her. The CB said after sometime he developed physical intimacy with the woman.
He recorded the intimate moments with the victim on mobile camera and then started circulating the clip in the open market through CDs, the Crime Branch said.

Sources said the Crime Branch had sent the CDs’ for FSL report to Forensic Laboratory Chandigarh. It had also sent the case for the approval for the chargesheet. “The report was positive and subsequently we got sanction for filing chargesheet against them,” said an official of the Crime Branch.
