Traffic cops booed for ‘faulty’ towing
Bumper breaks, brand new car damaged
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Apr 8: The Traffic Police officials were Thursday booed by some people when they tried to tow away a “wrongly-parked” brand new car but in the attempt broke its bumper making the car crash down on the fashionable Residency Road in the City centre.
While the Traffic policemen tied the car to the crane, the car’s bumper broke.
The car fell with a bang grabbing attention of the passer-by. In no time, the car owner along with the several other people arrived and argued with the officials and asked them to put back the car.
Many more people joined them and they booed the traffic officials. Some of them even tried to damage the vehicle and some were seen deflating the crane tyres.
“That’s good with these men. They always target small cars but never dare to touched the big sedans and SUVs as these presumably belong to officials and other influential people,” remarked a bystander.
Scores of people watched the seen, which bought traffic to the halt on the City’s busy marketplace.
