Zaffar pays tributes to Maqbool Illahi

Srinagar, Apr 8: Paying rich tributes to the memory of Shaheed Maqbool Illahi on his 17th martyrdom anniversary, the JK Salvation Movement chairman, Zaffar Akbar Bhat described him a great son of the soil and one of the founder leaders of the ongoing freedom struggle.
Addressing function at Machiwa, Budgam, organized to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Illahi, Zaffar Iqbal and Hamza Chacha, Zaffar reiterated to take their pledge to its logical lend.
He said Maqbool Illahi was a great soldier of Islam who laid his life for the freedom of Kashmir. “He along with Shaheed Ajaz Ahmad Dar, Shaheed Muhammad Abdullah Bangroo, Shaheed Muhammad Ashraf Dar, Shaheed Ashfaq Ahmad Wani, initiated the freedom movement,” he said.
