KCCI Relief Trust to help needy

Appeals members, masses to donate generously

Srinagar, Aug 10: Valley’s apex business conglomerate, the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry has constituted a six-member team to look into the requirements of the people in need so that its Relief Trust could extend any help.
At an executive committee meet with its president Nazir A Dar in chair, the meeting observed that the Trust had a great role in the present hour of crisis.
The members resolved to come to the rescue of people in need.
The meeting issued an SOS to its members in general and people in particular appealing them to donate generously to the Trust to enable it to give relief to the needy.
The members said the contributions can be deposited directly in the KCCI Relief Trust account no. CD-7306 J&K Bank, Residency Road, Srinagar.
The KCCI appealed to the traders to “keep the prices under check to avert black marketing so that the masses do not suffer during the prevailing situation in Kashmir.”
The members expressed grief over the killing of youth in Valley and expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved families. The executive committee observed two-minute silence in their memory.
