Move forward with firm resolve: Salah-ud-Din to people
Srinagar, Aug 10: Hailing the role of Hurriyat leadership in the ongoing mass struggle and demonstration of unity by the people, the chairman of United Jihad Council Syed Salah-ud-Din on Tuesday appealed them (people) to continue struggle and move forward with firm determination, courage, and steadfast.
Salah-ud-Din, according to the statement issued today by the UJC spokesman Syed Sadaqat Hussain from Muzaffarabad, said “The freedom movement in Kashmir was at its decisive phase. “India should read the writing on wall and give Kashmiris their right of self-determination to decide their future,” he said.
Condemning the arrest and continued detention of Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Shabir Ahmad Shah and other pro-freedom leaders and activists, Salah-ud-Din demanded their immediate release and appealed people to move forward with firm determination, courage and steadfastness under the Hurriyat leadership.
Salah-ud-Din paid glowing tributes to all the martyrs and expressed solidarity with their families. He prayed for the speedy recovery of all the injured. He also hailed the people who raised their voice in Delhi, Bangalore, Calcutta, Jammu and other areas against the killing of innocent civilians and other human rights violations and expressed solidarity with the Kashmiris.
