Valley to be normal soon: Khoda

Srinagar, Aug 10: The Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda today exuded confidence that peace and normalcy would soon return to the Valley with police handling the situation in a befitting manner.
“The morale of police force is high and we are confident that the situation will be tackled in a befitting manner for early restoration of peace and normalcy in the valley,” Khoda said after reviewing the security scenario in Ganderbal and Bandipore.
Interacting with senior police, paramilitary and civil officials, the police chief said security agencies in J&K had faced many tough challenges during the last 20 years and have overcome all of them.
He asked officers to ensure strong coordination at every level and maintain law and order in their respective jurisdictions.
