AJK speaker concerned
Islamabad, Aug 11: The speaker of AJK Legislative Assembly Shah Ghulam Qadir has urged the world community to take effective cognizance of the worsening human rights situation in Kashmir.
Addressing a press conference at Muzaffarabad on Wednesday, Shah voiced serious concern over the simmering situation in the troubled valley and said that the escalating violence and target killing of Kashmiri youth by Indian forces were a great challenge for humanity and world at large.
The Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader said that the international community should come forward in a big way to put an immediate end to the unabated human rights violations being inflicted upon the hapless people of Kashmir.
Referring to PML-N’s stance on Kashmir, Shah said that Nawaz Sharief has voiced his grave concern over the latest situation in Kashmir and called for an immediate end to rights abuses in the valley.
