Futile debates

This refers  to a recent debate on CNN-IBN (5th August 2010), where one of the panelists Madhu Kishwar, said that the cause for growing anger in Kashmiri people is the hunger for economic development  and employments in the state and indirectly tried to label the Kashmiris as beggars. Well, that is absolutely ridiculous. By making such a loose statement, she has not expressed disrespect for Kashmiris but reflected her mindset as well. It showed how poor understanding she has of Kashmir issue. It demands higher degree of intellect to comprehend what is going on in Kashmir and what Kashmiris want. Another panelist Nirmala, Spokesperson BJP was doing her job to play politics over the Kashmir corpses. If Indian media really wants to put forth the truth and hold meaningful debates on TV channels, they should bring in some realistic, honest and unbiased panelists  who interpret things in a right manner.
