Rush medical supplies to SKIMS: Azad to DGHS

New Delhi, Aug 11: Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad Wednesday directed Director General Health Services to rush life saving drugs and surgical equipment to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences for treatment of injured in the recent protests.
Azad during his recent meeting with SKIMS Director was informed about the scarcity of the drugs and surgical bandages.
SKIMS is the only super-speciality hospital in Kashmir located at Soura and has seen a lot of rush of injured patients in the past weeks. A large number of people, especially those having bullet injuries, are being treated there.
