Militant killed, trooper succumbs
Srinagar, Aug 13: Army on Friday said that it killed a militant in Jammu’s Rajouri district, while a trooper injured in a gunfight with militants on Thursday in north Kashmir’s Bandipore district succumbed today.
“A column of Army killed a militant at Pir Badesar in Rajouri this afternoon,” the defence spokesman said in a statement.

Meanwhile, an army trooper Pankaj Kumar belt no. 13622491-y NK who was injured in a gunfight with militants in Bandipore forests succumbed taking the toll in the encounter to four.
Pertinently, Army on Thursday had said that it killed three unidentified militants.
