AASIYA WARNS GOVT ON AHAD JAN’S ‘TORTURE’

SRINAGAR, AUG 16: Dukhtaran-e-Millat chairperson, Syeda Aasiya Andrabi on Monday warned the state government on Abdul Ahad Jan’s torture and subsequent falling health.
 In a statement, Aasiya said: “If anything untoward happened to Jan, the Government will be responsible for the consequences.” She said it was the responsibility of people from every walk of society to take the movement to its logical conclusion.
 Aasiya condemned the firing on protesters in Tral in which a person was reported to be dead and several critically injured.
