Education must
My heart feels for those who lost their young ones. Every Kashmiri is suffering in the prevailing situation. I thank our doctors and the paramedical staff who are serving the Valleyites in this hour of grief. At the same time, employees of PDD, PHE also deserve applause. We have a rich tradition of helping others in times of need. We extend all help to our non-Muslim brothers. But we are neglecting our education system, which has come to a grinding halt at present. Mankind cannot sustain without education. Through education only we can seek liberation. If we cannot pursue education, we shall remain ignorant. We have witnessed worst time. We lost a population. We have widows, orphans and families who lost their young sons. We have to take care of them. For all this, we need to be educated. We must be a breed of well educated academics, journalists, scholars, engineers and bureaucrats. It is time to devise a mechanism to see how we can study while we continue with our struggle. Intellectuals, academics and scholars must come forward with suggestions in this regard. We can explore the possiblity of students being taught in their localities by the educated persons.
