Indefinite curfew in Srinagar

Srinagar Aug 20: According to District Magistrate Srinagar, areas under the jurisdiction of police stations/police posts of district Srinagar including Batamaloo, Bemina, Qamarwari, Kralkhud, Nowhatta, Khanyar, MR Gunj, Safakadal, Rainawari, Maisuma, Shaheedgunj and Abi-Guzar area of Police Station, Kothibagh will remain under curfew on August 21, 2010 from morning 6 am till further orders.
However, the law enforcing agencies have been advised to allow the government employees on showing their departmental identity cards. They shall also regulate movement of patients and attendants on production of their identity cards.
