Rs 5.14 Cr additionality released for Sopur

Srinagar, Aug 20: The Government has released an additionality of Rs. 514.28 lakh under Special Area Development Programme for developing infrastructure and creating basic amenities in Sopur.
As per a communiqué of Planning and Development Department, the amount had been released to ensure completion of 14 works under execution in the town, which include essential feeder line to Sub-district Hospital, street lights, upgradation of town roads, additional accommodation for High School Jamia Qadeem, construction of passengers sheds at Chankhun and Sumo stand Sopur, Development of play field at HSS Sopore, Safe drinking water to Mahrajpora, water supply to SDH Sopur, purchase of  five ambulance, one  for mother and child hospital and four for SDH Sopur, development of perk at Chinkipora, pay and use toilet for SDH and Mother and Child hospital, drinking water supply near SDH, General Bus Stand , M&CHH and other public places, Parking places at SDH and mother & child hospital Sopur, town drainage development for 12 Mohallas of the town.
