Malik ailing

‘Needs Proper Care’

GK NEWSNETWORK

Srinagar, Aug 22: The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health of its chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, who is presently lodged in Kothibagh Police Station.
Police had arrested Malik in June this year and since then he continues to be under detention. He was taken to New Delhi earlier this month after his condition deteriorated. “Doctors after conducting various investigations found out that his cholesterol level is high. He has got stones in both kidneys and his pacemaker has to be changed,” Malik’s close aide told Greater Kashmir.
He said that doctors advised Malik to take complete rest and take medicines regularly.
“He (Malik) needs proper care. To provide medicare in custody is not possible. We are apprehensive about his safety as he is ailing,” the aide said. “If anything happens to him (Malik) in custody government will be responsible for it.”
Pertinently, Malik was brought back from New Delhi recently and was again lodged in the Police Station Kothi Bagh.
