Sad statement

The chief minister should not have made the statement that the AFSPA would stay in Jammu and Kashmir. At this juncture, such statements add fuel to fire. What for is the AFSPA? It is just license to troops to kill Kashmiris and then get away with it. Kashmir is facing a crisis of sorts. This is the time when all politicians must work together to ensure that the crisis ends in the larger interest of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Playing politics or issuing inflammatory statements won’t do.
