Who is Huma Tabassum?

Jammu, Aug 22: Even after the lapse of 24 hours since police arrested seven impersonators including two girls from Jammu University, Police says it is still clueless about the identity of Huma Tabassum who was one of the candidates in place of whom a proxy candidate appeared in the medical exam.
As per the college record, sources said, the candidate is the daughter of Ghulam Muhammad resident of 23-A Gandhi Nagar Jammu. A girl identified as Shruti Gaur daughter of Raghvinder Gaur, a resident of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh was impersonating for her in the examination.
If the sources are to be believed the quarter No 23-A is a government accommodation allotted to Minister for Roads and Building, G M Saroori.
Police officials however, remained tight-lipped over the identity of the original aspirants, saying “The College authorities are yet to furnish the details and records of original aspirants to the police.”
Several attempts to contact the Minister since yesterday proved futile as his mobile phone remained switched off.
Police officials also remained tight lipped over the identity of Lovish Bharat, son of Ram Pal, resident of Rehari. Ram Pal is said to be a National Conference leader and former minister. Mobeen, son of Muhammad Akhter, resident of Ashtam Nagar, Lucknow was appearing in the exam for him.
Sources maintained that original aspirants also belong to very influential families and “every possible” efforts are being made to hush up the case. “Police is still working under immense pressure as efforts are on to hush up the case,” added sources.
They said that the parents and family members of medical aspirants had promised a hefty amount to prime accused, Kunj Bihari who managed to escape from the police net.
Police sources said that they were also trying to establish the identity of the person who made the deal with the main accused. “The accused who are in our custody do not known any thing as the entire deal was made by the kingpin Kunj Bihari, who is still at large”, sources revealed.
