Omar pays obeisance at Khawaja's Dargah

Ajmer, Aug 23: The Chief Minister Omar Abdullah,accompanied by his family and father Farooq Abdullah, today offered prayers at the shrine of Sufi saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti for peace in Kashmir Valley.
He offered 'chadar' at the Shrine of Khwaja Garib Nawaz and offered 'fateha'.
Omar told the media after ziyarat that he came to the Dargah only to pray to Garib Nawaz for peace in the Valley.
The state government is trying its best to maintain law and order peace, Omar said and added that he was sure that youth of the Valley who had gone astray would return to the mainstream.
He tied "Mannat Ka Dhaga" on the "Jannti darwaza" of Dargah for peace in Kashmir Valley.
The Anjuman Committee honoured Omar, his father, wife and other family members.
