Sikh delegation meets Guv
Srinagar, Aug 23: A delegation of the All India Shiromani Akali Dal leaders today met Governor N N Vohra at Raj Bhavan here and discussed the situation in Kashmir Valley and issues relating to welfare of the Sikh community.
The six-member delegation, led by S Jaswant Singh Maan, demanded measures for socio-economic development of the Sikh community, their representation in various bodies, including the State Legislature, J&K Public Service Commission and J&K Subordinate Services Recruitment Board.
