Hold spl session on Kashmir: JKPM to UN
Jammu, Aug 24: Accusing India of committing crimes against humanity in Kashmir, J&K Peoples Movement has urged the United Nations to hold an emergency session of the Security Council to discuss deteriorating situation in Kashmir, where armed forces were on killing spree.
Addressing activists at Thanamandi, senior APHC leader and Chairman JKP said, the hospitals in Kashmir were running out of medical supplies. He said by keeping the whole Kashmir under curfew, India had virtually declared an ‘economic blockade’ against the people who are not able to obtain the basic necessities of life.
He said for the past several weeks the whole population of Kashmir was made hostage. He said India was seeking guidance from Israel to crush the indigenous freedom struggle in Kashmir.
