Postpone exams

We request the Vice Chancellor of Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora to reconsider the notification regarding the semester exams. It is quite evident from the contemporary situation that students appearing in exams would apparently encounter many difficulties. The exam dates are scheduled on normal days but many areas like Sopore, Shopian, Doda, Kishtawar and Tral are under siege even on these days. 17th of August was supposed to be a normal day but areas like Tral, Bemina, and Hazratbal were closed down due to unfavourable circumstances. While the university administration is trying to ward off the issue of taking exams, they never gave a thought on how the students would reach their homes safely. The first and foremost priority of the administration must be the  safety of students.
