Best Pvt Sector Bank award for JKB

Srinagar, Aug 26: Jammu and Kashmir Bank has been declared best private sector bank for the year 2009-10 by Dun and Bradstreet (D&B), the world’s leading provider of global business information, knowledge and insight. In this context the bank has been presented an award for providing banking facilities in rural areas in J&K state.
Former Chairman, Securities and Exchange Board of India, M Damodaran, who was chief guest on the occasion, and President & CEO – India Dun and Bradstreet, Kaushal Sampat, presented the award at a glittering function held at ITC Grand Maratha, Mumbai. On behalf of the bank, the award was received by its President and Secretary Parvez Ahmad.
