Welcome decision

This refers to the letter titled "Paper Scheme" (GK Aug 23). The author is unaware of the fact that the single paper scheme for class 12th was proposed early this year. However due to the criticism by students and many members of BOSE it was not implemented. It is now being implemented because a very less portion of syllabus has been completed. I being a 12th class student am happy with the decision. I however agree that all stakeholders should have been consulted before any decision was taken.
