Srinagar, Aug 27: The Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syeda Aasiya Andrabi on Friday castigated National Conference president, Dr Farooq Abdullah for stating that autonomy is the solution to the Kashmir dispute during his speech at Parliament on Thursday.
In a statement, Aasiya said “at a time when the Kashmiris including children have only one objective and slogan that is Quit Jammu Kashmir, the assertions of Dr Farooq that they want autonomy is nothing than a bundle of lies. This has exposed the evil designs of National Conference.”
“Today we received countless phone calls from traders to street vendors pledging support for Quit Jammu Kashmir Movement. The overwhelming support to ongoing movement from over past three months has made it clear that this movement does not belong to any individual but whole Kashmir. People have taken vow that unless India accept the dispute nature of Kashmir, the agitation under the banner of Hurriyat (G) will continue,” she said.
Aasiya endorsed the Hurriyat (G)’s call for TRC chalo on August 28 and appealed the people to make it successful.
