Burglars decamp with jewellery,cash at Ibrahim Colony
Srinagar: Burglars on Friday struck at a house in Lane 3 of Ibrahim Colony, Hyderpora and decamped with jewellery and cash worth Rs 2 lakh.
According to the family they left for their respective work places in the wake of the relaxation when burglars entered the house between 10.15 am and 12.15 pm.
The burglars, they said had broke open the kitchen door to enter the house. “They turned everything topsy turvey, broken open wardrobes and picked up jewellery and cash. The theft was noticed by a family member when she returned home to receive her child,” the family said.
An FIR has been lodged with PS Sadder and the police has launched investigations.
