Protect life

Friday, the 30th of July, proved yet another day of civilian killings in Kashmir. The toll of civilian casualties in action by police and paramilitary CRPF troopers is 24, given the figures of past five weeks. The next day two more killings took place. And on Sunday another two were gunned down. There is a need to protect lives, but on the ground there seems to be no change. Government has a responsibility to guard its citizens.
