Milk cooler plant installed

GK NEWSNETWORK

Jammu, Aug 29: A 2000-litre capacity milk cooler plant at village Khairi was installed by J&K Dairy Producers, Processors and Marketing Cooperative Union Ltd today.
A conference 1999 Cooperative Societies on the promotion of dairy and milk marketing was also held on the occasion.
The newly installed Milk Plant will cater to the needs of more than 1000 milk producing farmers of the Tehsil Bishnah. This will also provide better marketing facilities to the milk producers at their doorsteps, which will go a long way in improving their socio-economic status. Besides offering reasonable price of milk, the facility will help also save the time, which the farmers otherwise spent while marketing their products in the Jammu city.
