Nowhatta complains of poor mobile connectivity
GK CITY REPORTER
Srinagar, Aug 29: The residents of Nowhatta in Shahr-e-Khaas said the BSNL mobile connectivity in the area was poor.
The residents said they hardly get a signal as a result of which their handsets remain “in a not reachable” status for the callers.
Given the unrest in the Valley, the locals said, they were feeling inconvenience due to the poor connectivity.
“One wants to stay connected with his family in these testing times, but the mobile is putting us to trouble when it was required the
most,” said Manzoor Ahmed of old City.
Manzoor’s brother is working abroad.
“My brother is so concerned that he tries calling us after every hour, but the poor connectivity hampers it,” Manzoor said.
The residents appealed the GMT BSNL to look into the matter.
