Flight shutdown

This refers to the news titled “Flight shutdown unique to Srinagar airport” (GK Aug 25). I get to see my family hardly twice a year and most of the times it’s on Eid. Since Eid falls on 10-11 September, most of the people like me have planned and booked the tickets for home. Going for flights shutdown for 12 days is nothing but an act of depriving the people to be with their families. I wish the shutdown is postponed. No heaven is going to fall down.
