1 dies, father-son duo hurt

Jammu, Aug 3: One person died while father-son duo were injured when a Wagon-R, in which they were travelling, rolled down into a gorge at Udhampur early Tuesday.
Police said the Wagan-R car (JK01N-3189), was on its way from Srinagar to Jammu, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into a deep gorge near Birma bridge in Udhampur.
SHO police station Udhampur Arvind Sambyal said that the mishap took place at 4.30 am, leaving one dead and two injured.
The injured have been shifted to the district hospital Udhampur. The injured have been identified as Syed Muhammed Hussain son of Syed Muhammed Aga Hussain and his son Syed Zahid residents of Budgam. The condition of both the injured was stated to be out of danger.
The body of Ali Muhammad Wani of Palar area of district Budgam was shifted to the hospital for post-mortem and other legal formalities.
Police have registered a case at police station Udhampur.
