‘Govt bans mid term transfers from August’

Jammu, Aug 7: The government has declared education as essential services in the state, Minister for School Education, Peerzada Sayeed said Saturday.
 He said that an order to this effect has already been issued adding that the decision has been taken to enforce punctuality and accountability in the schools. He said that the government has also banned premature and mid term transfers from the current month to avoid disruption in the studies of students.
 Peerzada asked the officers to strictly implement the transfer policy and do not issue any transfer order henceforth.
