JKLF concerned over Malik’s health

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Saturday expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health of its “ailing” Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, saying medicos apprehend damage to his artificial heart valve.
“For the past 2-weeks Yasin Malik has been complaining of chest pain and, after a checkup, his doctor has expressed concern over the danger to his life in view of the damage to his artificial heart valve,” a JKLF spokesman said.
Malik’s heart valve was replaced by an artificial valve, 18-years ago during an open heart surgery, he said.
The concluding part of Malik’s medical report issued to the press by the JKLF states
The report concludes: “Finally this is mandatory for his survival.”
