Kashmiris hold protest in Bangalore

Bangalore, Aug 7: Kashmiri traders, students and others working here on Saturday held a peaceful protest sit in at M G Road for an hour to register their protest against the civilian killings in Kashmir and to express their solidarity with the people of valley.
 This was second protest held by Kashmiris while first one was exclusively organized by the students. The organizers told Greater Kashmir on phone that the protest was organized after obtaining prior permission for holding the sit in on the city’s busiest road. Kashmiris from all walks of life participated in the sit in.
 It is worth mentioning here that Kashmiris working or studying in different states have been organizing demonstrations to register their protest against the killings during the last 56 days of uprising in the valley.
