More troops
This refers to the news “More troops being deployed in Kashmir.” This is not done at a time when the entire issue is about troop’s withdrawal. More humane approach is needed to deal with the protesters. People in Kashmir want justice. They are out on the streets protesting against civilian killings. But when more civilians are killed with each passing day, it is obviously bound to compound the crisis. At the same time, it is my passionate appeal to all political leaders that they must refrain from making statements which agitate people. This time it is important to bring the situation under control. Kids and children are dying on the streets. We must all be concerned about this mayhem. It is our collective responsibility to refrain from igniting people. Force has no role. But our suggestions can be of vital importance at this juncture. Let’s save Kashmiris from being killed like this.
