PaK Prez urges OIC to call emergency session

Islamabad, Aug 7: The PaK president, Raja Zulqarnain Khan on Saturday urged Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) to call its emergency session to take the stock of the simmering situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
 “The OIC should call an emergency session and international human rights organizations should take cognizance of the stepped-up human rights abuses in JK,”  Khan told reporters after meeting the Hurriyat representatives here. 
 The PaK president urged the international community to play a pro-active role to stop bloodbath in Kashmir. “The unabated human rights violations and killings of innocent is a great challenge for humanity and the world at large,” he said.
 He said that on one hand New Delhi talks of peace while on the other it has let loose a “rein of terror in the Valley.”
 During his meeting with Hurriyat representative earlier Khan, according to sources, assured them that the government and the people of PaK would provide all out support to Kashmiris’ legitimate cause.
 Khan expressed solidarity with the bereaved families whose nears and dears were killed during the present unrest.
