Hathi Khan residents do SMC work

Srinagar, Aug 8: The residents of Hathi Khan Mohalla in Shahr-e-Khaas on Sunday said that for the past over a week long curfew, the Srinagar Municipal Corporation didn’t lift the garbage from there.
 Finally, as the garbage heaps kept mounting, a team of locals volunteered to lift the trash.
 The residents said the stench of garbage heaps had made their lives miserable adding that there was a fear of outbreak of epidemic.
