Justice package

 This refers to the article “The only package Kashmir needs is justice” by Siddharth Vardarajan.. Today everyone talks about the human rights violations, but nobody is ready to stop them. On one hand, the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh talks of “zero tolerance” on human rights violations, but on the other, Kashmiris continue to be killed in action by police and paramilitary forces. It is time to address the Kashmir issue without any further delay. The former chief minister of J&K, Dr Farooq Abdullah, got the Autonomy proposal passed in the Assembly but the NDA government kept it under the carpet. Though Autonomy cannot be the final resolution of Kashmir, but India must think about it. Also, ignoring the recommendations of the PM’s Working Groups on Kashmir is downright negligence.
