PP to attend PM's meeting on Kashmir unrest

Srinagar, Aug 8: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today decided to attend the all-party meeting convened by the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday to discuss the situation in the Valley.
"The decision to attend the August 10 meeting was taken on a  special invitation from Prime Minister's Office to the party," JKNPP Chairman Bhim Singh told PTI.
Expressing support for the PM's initiative, Singh said his party has always been in favour of initiation of a political process in the state. However, Singh made it clear that his party will not be a part of the political delegation of the state as JKNPP skipped the meeting convened by the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah last month.
