Strengthening Congress in Kashmir a priority: Shoaib

Jammu, Aug 8: Taking his new appointment as president Pradesh Youth Congress as challenging than opportunity, newly appointed PYC president, Shoaib Lone has said the strengthening of Congress in valley would be his priority. Talking to media persons, Lone said, “I am taking my new appointment as a challenge rather than opportunity as it was AICC general secretary, Rahul Gandhi who has given me chance to come up to his expectation and serve to the people.”
 He said Rahul felt pained over the recent situation in Kashmir and wanted normalcy and peace in the region.  Earlier, JKPCC chief, Saifuddin Soz-MP and Shoaib Lone were accorded rousing reception at the PCC HQ Shaheedi Chowk.
 Lone who has been selected as president of PYC after a talent search campaign by the AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, is a former MLA and son of former minister G N Lone.
 Soz described frontal organizations as the backbone of the Congress party and asked all frontal organizations of INC-Youth Congress, NSUI, Mahila Congress, INTUC and Seva Dal to work united.
